Positive: New owner has really made some positive changes and updates to the resort. Our villa had more than we needed for our stay. Beautifully presented and kept. Lovely and helpful staff. Very peaceful location. Thanks for the extra touches. We felt really welcomed and special.

Negative: Location is right on the beach, but it is quite a dangerous beach to swim. There are some beautiful, safer beaches not too far away.

Positive: This was a lovely resort, tucked away from the touristy hustle and bustle and quietly situated on a pretty black sand beach. On arrival, we were presented with refreshing welcome drinks and Putu helpfully showed us through our villa and clearly explained thoroughly how the resort operated. Our well appointed villa, which was was cleaned daily, was spacious and felt like home, with two ample sized bedrooms, a kitchen and dining space, a good sized bathroom with both bath and pool towels and a separate toilet, as well as a sitting area in the entrance. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean each night was superb. The restaurant was a great place to relax in with delicious meals and drinks on offer throughout the day and into the evening. Due to the location a scooter or car was necessary in order to go anywhere as there are no shops or restaurants nearby, although we enjoyed our time relaxing at the resort. The staff were welcoming and so helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and our needs met. Don’t be put off by the entry drive down a dirt track. Once through the resort gate, you feel like you’re in another place altogether.

Negative: The paved spaces meant that during the day the property was really hot despite the beautiful gardens. The pool was welcome relief from the heat of the day, as were the air-conditioned rooms.

Summary: A comfortable, quiet, relaxing place to enjoy peace away from the hustle and bustle.

Positive: Beautiful beach ,but not for swimming, dangerous, very clean, comfortable rooms . Excellent quiet area to relax 😌

Negative: 500,000 deposit in arriving on top of already paying up front .was unusual,was refunded on doing an inventory check of your room before leaving, and they told us they didn't accept cards. So make sure you take cash before arriving as no atm in the area. The same goes for the restaurant, and you have no other real options as remote but to eat there .

Positive: I booked for 1 night only but ended up being there for almost two weeks! I just really loved the peace and quiet. The whole place is beautiful, big clean rooms, the people working there, helpfulness, and much more 🙏🏼 Falling asleep to the sound of waves and nothing else is rare. The location is also great, within 20 minutes you have everything; many different beaches, the highlands, amazing views, ricefields, unique cafees, really special temples and activities (recommend to have a scooter or car). I want to add too that the village this hotel is in is really nice as well. You do get the true feeling of the Balinese culture and genuine smiles as you drive through the place.
